The Transformation: From Brass to Badass
We started with a faded brown and blonde base. Our client wanted to achieve a crisp, bright blonde accented by vibrant pink “Raccoon Stripes”. A nod to the iconic 2000s scene aesthetic, refined with professional precision for the modern day. We talked about this trending style in our last blog post and it’s growing popularity at our salon. What a coincidence!

Without compromising the hair’s integrity but still getting that high-impact look. Our Melbourne team used a meticulous “protect and conquer” strategy:

Preservation: We hand-weaved out the previous bleached sections and packed them in Olaplex and foil to keep them safe while we worked on the rest of the hair.

Lift: Using a custom blend of Arimino & Access Free bleach (1:1 ratio) and we processed in three 10-minute stages (mids, then bands, then roots). To ensure a perfectly even pale canvas.

Glow: We toned the base with Demi Evo 9+9.37 for a clean, expensive-looking blonde finish.

Design: The “Raccoon Stripes” were created using a 1:10% mix of Evo Light Pink and Tangerine STAINO for a punchy, neon-sunset vibe that pops.
